Mason Mill Park: Practices take place at Mason Mill Park - located at 1345 McConnell Dr Decatur, GA, 30033 The field at the park is available on a first come, first served basis. If the field is taken before we arrive, we will practice on the green beside the picnic tables. There is a playground at the park. It may be difficult for kids to turn their attention from the playground if they play before practice, so we suggest you reserve playground time until after practice. Please note: there are no bathroom facilities at the park. Practice Policies Payment – payment is available through Venmo(@eyalsegal72) and PayPal(eyalsegal72@gmail.com). Cash or by check are also excepted (made out to Eyal Lalkin Segal) at the first practice. We also offer Returning a signed information sheet by email is sufficient to reserve a place. We offer the following discounts: $5 off for returning participants, $5 off for referral of another participant that signs up, and $10 off the price of each sibling. Clothing and gear – Coach Eyal provides all the required equipment for practices. While no special clothing or gear is necessary, please dress kids in clothing appropriate for the weather and outdoor play and sneakers. Shin guards and cleats are welcome but not required. Arrival – please arrive on time or no more than a few minutes early for practice. Kids will get distracted and lose patience if they wait around too long before the fun begins. Sunscreen and water – Coach Eyal provides a water cooler and cups for water breaks during practice. However, it is very important for you and your kids to hydrate appropriately before and after practice. Also, please make sure to apply the sunscreen generously and bug spray, too! Rain and heat cancellation – Practice will be cancelled in the following situations: if it is raining the morning of practice, if it rains so heavily the night before practice that the ground is saturated, or if the temperature hits triple digits the morning of practice. We will do our best to send out email notices as soon as a cancellation decision is made, but please feel free to contact Coach Eyal by email or phone if you have any questions. Make-up practices – Make-up practices are included in the fee and generally will be scheduled by extending the session for up to two weeks. Alternative dates may be substituted, as determined by Coach Eyal in conjunction with program participants. Parent participation – A parent or authorized adult must remain at the field for the duration of each session. Adults attending practice should wear comfortable shoes and plan on joining the fun! Your participation is an important part of the success of practice and your child's enjoyment of the sport and it will help you learn the drills so you can practice at home. T-shirts – Mini Soccer Stars T-shirts are available for purchase at a cost of $5. We will send further information regarding availability once the session begins. There is no requirement to purchase or wear the T-shirt to practices, though. Additional and Alternative Locations If there is sufficient interest, Coach Eyal will add additional groups and will consider alternative days of the week and locations.
