Ages 2-3At this stage the parents are fully involved in the learning process because the kids are so young and need close attention and someone familiar to the to help them with their first steps. Learning to dribble, pass and shoot are some skills we start to work on. We also work on coordination, following instructions and having a positive experience so kids get comfortable around the ball and on the field. |
Ages 3-4At this stage the kids should be more comfortable doing drills on their own, following rules and playing more games in a group setting. We still work on creating a positive experience, finishing tasks and encouraging good sportsmanship. We improve dribbling and shooting skills through challenges and obstacles and introduce kids to how to play against an opponent. |
Ages 5-6At this stage we focus much more on real game play. We introduce competitive team play, teach kids to incorporate individual skills into a game setting and help them improve individually while also teaching good sportsmanship. We hope at the end of these session kids are ready to play in an organized league with other children and have the confidence to use their set of skills in a real game situation. |
